UConn Students Charged In Student's Death Appear At Court. Atty. Anthony Spinella, a former prosecutor, said there were others who were more responsible for the incidient than the six men who were charged.

The six men each applied for accelerated rehabilitation in April 2017. At hearings before Superior Court Judge Carl E. Taylor, the six men and their lawyers laid out the reasons they deserved the program, which is designed for first-time non-violent offenders a judge finds are unlikely to commit another crime.

"I think it's an appropriate resolution, although I think he never should have gotten arrested in the first place," Manchester defense attorney Anthony Spinella said of his client, Polansky. "In fact, I don't think any of them should have gotten arrested." The men were ordered to perform community service and to make a charitable donation during their two-year probation.

Crumbling Basements Walls: Keep Up To Date Regarding Your Crumbling Basement Walls.

Since September 2015, Barry, Barall & Spinella, LLC has dedicated itself to representing a number of homeowners in northeastern Connecticut to obtain coverage for their collapsing basement walls.

In January 2016, Attorneys Ryan Barry and Anthony Spinella filed a class action lawsuit in federal court claiming that more than 100 insurance companies have engaged in a concerted scheme to deny coverage for failing basement walls. Attorneys Barry and Spinella allege that these companies have worked together to create and implement policy language that excludes coverage on the collapse of their insureds' basement walls.

Well aware of the failing concrete claims filtering into their offices and into our state and federal courts during the past 20 years, these companies worked with some industry associations to change the standard policy language to attempt to exclude coverage for failing basement walls.

The lawsuit asserts that the insurance companies violated the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act and the Connecticut Unfair Insurance Practices Act. The plaintiffs ask the Court for the following relief:

1. Removal and replacement of their basement walls

2. Punitive damages

3. Attorneys fees

4. Other appropriate damages
